So I've begun taking my music in a new direction a while back, and got lost for a while. It's finally starting to pour out the right way again.
I wrote a new tune not very long ago. I finally got around to hooking up a demo to my soundcloud.
Listen Now.
The lyrics are as follows
Stillborn
We can't depend on them. No no...
They're stealing from our mouths
to keep us on our knees.
They'll never, oh they'll never
look out for our needs.
We've been prisoned by dead since the days we were born.
And I wonder,
Why does it matter anymore?
The gleaming in our eyes
Is only meant for a disguise
And this endless conversation
Has swept across the nation.
We've been prisoned by dead since the days we were born
And I wonder
How does it matter anymore?
So strip me down.
Throw down another round.
Yeah strip me down.
Get consumed by the sound.

Divide and Conquer
I never really thought about that saying too much before. I always just associated it with either the Looney Tunes playing out some wacky scene, or Pinky and the Brain attempting to take over Warner Brothers, but I never really thought about it.
Think about it. If only for a moment.
Divide and conquer.
What about this age old saying do you end up thinking about?
Well, it all dawned on me this morning. I was reading a fabulous article today breaking down the banking system and the 9 things they've done over the course of history to create a "less obvious" slavery on the world. It was very interesting, but not for the person who practices apathy, it would be too much to digest.
Divide and conquer.
"Sell concepts like “nationalism”, and incite religious-based and race-based hate to divide and conquer people from uniting against a segment of society (bankers) that commits a long list of atrocities that would have landed anyone else in jail centuries ago."
(click to read the article)
How many times has this phrase been used in entertainment? How little do we respect it?
What it truly is saying, is if you divide your target and pin them against each other, you can conquer all.
Divide and conquer.
Would you go as far as agreeing with me that this is exactly what the media and current government administration is trying to do? Either way, whether or not I stand alone with this, I don't doubt it with any bit of wavering.
Let's look around us. Anytime there's an individual whose ideas differ, do we not become defensive?
What if we all learned to set aside our differences, and mean it, and learn how to work together in harmony to overcome the obstacles we face today? Why don't we all agree to do our part and take our lives and our country (and eventually our world) back?
Is it really just too easy to give in and allow ourselves to get consumed in entertainment beyond reason, and let the world fall apart?
What's stopping us from honestly achieving happiness? Entertainment has it's place, don't get me wrong, but how biased does it have to get?
Divide and conquer.
It's poetry / lyric time:
Fat Queen

Fat Queen
They pop us full of pills
To keep us working, for their fill
Life was not meant to be lived this way
And I’m sick of the charade they play
Worker ants to serve the queen
So she may live fat and happy
So she may fuck us all
Time is money, but both were imagined
Both have been assigned value
Because they know many will follow suit
To obtain the things we could create
With or without it
Worker ants to serve the queen
So she may live fat and happy
So she may fuck us all

President of What!?
What does raising the minimum wage do?
Increases company expenses.
Increases the cost of living.
Increases the money that is taxed and collected by the government forcing less economic growth.
Damages the economy even further.
"How does it increase the cost of living?
How does it damage the economy?" You may be wondering..
Companies will not give their employees raises to create (make up for) linear inflation of these wages. If anything their budgets and costs will be affected where they're forced to keep their higher paid employees' wages low. They need to maintain the balance to raise said "minimum" wage workers' pay. This will result in increase cost of their products in the market place to pay for the effects of the minimum wage increase.
Now where is there opportunity for economic growth with an increase in the cost of goods, while a widespread decrease in value of income occurs? Wallets all around tighten, and this action keeps money out of the economy. The only benefit goes to the government alone, as they reap the benefits of increased tax revenue; which they will spend on frivolous acts of war and "social programs" because let's face it, you could do it on your own and you COULD "build that" if the money was in YOUR pockets like how it started before the government took it all, but instead, they're pocketing it, and redistributing your dollars on THEIR terms, while maintaining 100% control of how you use the money YOU worked for, (not them).
It's an ILLUSION! It won't change how much "money" there is. If anything it just hurts working Americans even further.
"But why would the government want to hurt us?" You may be asking. It's simple. They own us, we're the modern day slave. It's not a race thing, it's a power thing. When are we all going to wake up and unite in solidarity and STOP these crooks from ruining the integrity of human existence!?
Meanwhile, Obummer and Moochelle are taking yet ANOTHER luxurious vacation. When was the last time YOU took a vacation or could even afford to call out sick!?
How can anyone honestly tell me this will help the economy?
This is perfect for an original poem of mine:
Generation Fuck
What does it really mean
To live the American dream?
A civilization of simulation
The lies lay in ideology
The people fall for the faรงade of
A life of glory and bounty
But do we keep pressing on
With the mistakes ancestors made?
Afraid and unwilling to face
The consequences
And take matters into our own hands.
Open for discussion. GO.

Hello world?
This is my obligatory first blog post.
Well, not that I have never created a blog before, because I have, but after years of lying dormant my words are about to resurface in this new medium called blogger.. hmm..
A little bit about me (because I may as well be a stranger)..
I'm always thinking. Always. There's not a road that my mind doesn't wander through. I'm a Taurus born in the year of the Rabbit, and I'm sure as hell a living example of this.
This is also in some form a disclaimer of sorts, as I am a libertarian. I do have a burning passion in practicing politics, but I hate politicians and never will be one. I stand up for freedom, and won't bend over for the man.
I was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and have traveled a route of over 3800 miles in my beat Ford Focus that currently has a screw in one tire that I can't afford to repair so I keep an eye on the air level, a busted window that I poorly keep in the up position with duct tape, and my cup holder has more cigarette ashes than an ashtray, to explore the la-la land of Los Angeles. I have seen a lot of shit in my life thus far, created a lot of stories, and that my friends will come another day.
I'm a poet, an artist, a musician, and just a curious and good soul looking for a purpose.
I like to make people smile, think, and live merrily whenever I can.
Here's a few words to leave you with.

Introverted Red
This black cloud is like no other
A hurricane, bestowing thunder
Sweeping souls
No warnings told
Devastating hearts of gold
Imprisoning good thoughts
Intentions wrought
Pain persisting
With no one listening
A silence found
As trees fall down
No escaping
These winds are taking
All strive
While vessels breathe
In synchronicity
Without simplicity
Peculiar rhythm
Creates a schism
Within these souls
Forever old
Have lost their gold
While the blackness consumes them
